What am I doing with Research at OrthoCarolina?

At OrthoCarolina Sports Medicine & Shoulder/Elbow, we are dedicated to not only helping our current patients, but those in the future who we may be fortunate enough to treat for their orthopedic ailments. To do so, we strongly believe in the power of Research to change how we practice as Orthopaedic surgeons, and to improve the way that we care for and treat our patients both surgically and non-surgically. There are a plethora of current research efforts ongoing at our Sports Center that we may have already (or could in the future course of your care) discuss with you in order to see if you would be willing to help us in our endeavors – often through such things as patient outcome questionnaires or surveys. We greatly respect your time and know how valuable it is, and we graciously ask that you consider assisting us in our research undertakings if you are willing and able to do so!

Please don’t hesitate to ask us about what we are doing and our ongoing research studies as we try to enhance the way we at OrthoCarolina Sports Medicine & Shoulder/Elbow serve our patients and the orthopaedic community.
